Willkie’s Chicago Office Supports The Chicago Bar Foundation’s Annual Investing in Justice Campaign

Lawyers in the office reach 100% participation.

One-hundred percent of the lawyers in Willkie’s Chicago office contributed to support The Chicago Bar Foundation’s annual Investing in Justice Campaign—in only a single week of fundraising. Most staff members in the office also supported the effort.

The Annual Investing in Justice Campaign rallies Chicago’s legal community around the Foundation’s common cause of ensuring that everyone has access to necessary legal help, not just people who can afford it. This year’s campaign kicked off in early March, before the coronavirus pandemic had taken hold. It is expected that many thousands of people who have been affected by the pandemic will need legal help.

The Chicago Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the Chicago Bar Association. It brings together the legal community to improve access to justice for people in need and to make the legal system more fair and efficient for everyone.
